Tomorrow March 30 the new Air One flight between Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa

Four daily flights with the new Airbus A320

Tomorrow March 30th, Air One will activate its new direct connection between Rome-Fiumicino and Milan-Malpensa. The new flight will have a four times daily frequency with schedules studied in order to be able to offer same day return flights for our important business clientele.The flights will be operated with new Airbus A320s which have recently been acquired.

Passengers flying on Air One from Rome to Malpensa can continue, thanks to the comfortable scheduling, to various international destinations (Berlin, Brussels, Athens, and Thessalonica) on Air One flights which will be operative this summer.Passengers can also continue from Milan-Malpensa, with Air One Partner Airlines to Warsaw (with Lot flights), to Riga and Vilnius (with Air Baltic flights), to Lisbon and Oporto (with Tap flights) and to Malta (with Air Malta flights).
Further more, with the new Rome to Milan-Malpensa connections starting in June, passengers can also fly on to Boston and Chicago, the first two intercontinental flights operated by Air One.These flights will be operated in collaboration with two major US carriers: US Airways (to Boston) and United Airlines (to Chicago). Once arrived at destination, Air One passengers can take advantage of the vast network of US domestic destinations these airlines offer.
Air One’s Rome-Fiumicino operations are the heart of its network, with more than 4 million passengers carried to and from Rome of the more than 7,500,000 passengers carried by the airline in 2007 (16% more than in 2006).
Air One has many new flights planned for the summer from Rome Fiumicino versus numerous international destinations in the Mediterranean area.

In 2007 Air One had over 37% of the domestic market chare. With its 3000 employees (including those who work for the holding company) Air One flies to 23 domestic, 10 international and 2 intercontinental (starting in June) destinations, plus many other destinations with its code-share partners. In 2007 Air One carried more than 7.5 million passengers to their destinations and registered an income of circa 700 million euros.
