Tomorrow March 30 the new Air One flight between Naples and Milan Malpensa take off

Naples becomes a part of the domestic, international and intercontinental network of Air One from Milan-Malpensa

Starting tomorrow, March 30, Air One will activate new direct flights between Naples and Milan-Malpensa. The flights will be operated with a twice daily frequency flying new 159 seat Airbus A320.Departure from Naples will be at 7:10 and 17:10 with the Airbus A320 returning from Milan-Malpensa at 9:40 and at 19:40.
Naples becomes a part of the domestic, international and intercontinental network of Air One flights from Milan-Malpensa.
Passengers which fly with Air One from Naples to Milan-Malpensa will be able continue their journey, thanks to the comfortable schedules to other Air One international destinations (Berlin, Brussels, Athens and Thessalonica) operate starting this summer.
Passengers can take advantage of our partner airline flights to Warsaw (with Lot flights), to Riga and Vilnius (with Air Baltic flights), to Lisbon and Oporto (with Tap flights) and to Malta (with Air Malta flights).
Furthermore, with the new Palermo-Milan-Malpensa flight, passengers will also be able to continue their journey from Milan-Malpensa to two new prime intercontinental destinations offered by Air One, Boston and Chicago, starting June. The flights to these two cities will be operated in collaboration with US AIRWAYS (to Boston), a very important US airline which will also let Air One passengers then continue on to other destinations in their vast US domestic market.

The activation of the new Naples – Milan-Malpensa flight operated by Air One is only the first step in an ambitious expansion programme. Air One aims to become the most important airline serving Milan-Malpensa thanks to its growth programme and the constantly increasing number of arrival destinations and flight frequencies giving a real response to the need for a direct connection from Italy towards Europe and the rest of the world.Naples Regional Hub - Air One
In 2007 Air One transported more than 963,000 passengers to and from Naples, an increase of 64.9%with respect to 2006 and with a market share of 27.5% (which is 6.8% higher than it was the year before). The route which carried the most passengers from Naples in 2007 was the Milan-Linate route (295,000 passengers up by 6.5% from 2006), followed by Turin (185,000 passengers, an increase of 16.3%) and to Genoa (83,000 passengers, an increase of 26.8%).
The Naples Capodichino Airport is the Regional Hub of Air One, its operative base for many domestic and international flights.In 2008 the Capodichino base will become even more important because the night stop planes will increase from three to four. With the new Naples-Milan-Malpensa flights brings the Air One Naples network up to 12 destinations from Naples: for domestic flights Milan-Linate, Milan-Malpensa, Turin, Bologna, Catania, Genoa, Palermo, Trieste, Venice andfor the international flights, Athens, Vienna and Zurich.

In 2007 Air One had over 37% of the domestic market chare. With its 3000 employees (including those who work for the holding company) Air One flies to 23 domestic, 10 international and 2 intercontinental (starting in June) destinations, plus many other destinations with its code-share partners. In 2007 Air One carried more than 7.5 million passengers to their destinations and registered an income of circa 700 million euros.
