Together with Telethon to give hope to children with muscular dystrophy
Join us in this commitment at Christmas and all year long
Air One is enthusiastically supporting Telethon, the non-profit organisation whose aim is progress in research into a cure for muscular dystrophies and other genetic illnesses.
To raise funds to assign to research, every year, Telethon organises the Television Marathon (on air on the RAI networks on 14th, 15th and 16th December 2007).
At least 6000 genetic illnesses affect 5% of Italian children. Telethon is at work, trying to create, year after year, a winning team which will allow Italian scientific research to continue towards a cure for rare genetic illnesses. In recent years, Telethon researchers have made great strides along the road which is leading them towards the cure for numerous illnesses thanks to funding raised.
Air One has chosen to support an important muscular dystrophy research project which is taking place at the A. Cisalpino Foundation at the San Raffaele Science Park in Rome. Professor Pier Lorenzo Puri is at work with his research team to identify new therapeutic strategies which encourage tissue regeneration in patients, giving them a better quality of life.
