Strategic alliances to fly higher and higher

In the year 2000 Air One established a strong commercial and technical partnership with Lufthansa, the leader of Star Alliance, the world’s most important alliance between airlines.

Lufthansa

The strategic cooperation established between Air One and Lufthansa, which was launched in the year 2000, optimizes the connections between southern Italy, Rome and northern Europe and generates added value for the consumers.

During the years, Air One entered code sharing agreements also with:

Aegean Airlines
Based on the mentioned agreement, the two carriers expand their network and strengthen their presence in Italy and Greece by offering a wider range of options to their passengers.
 
Air Baltic
The code sharing agreement lets Air One’s customers fly to Riga and Vilnius from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa and to Riga from Venice earning points in the frame of the EuroBonus frequent flyer program.
 
Air Canada
Further to this agreement with Air Canada, it will be possible to operate a daily connection between Rome and Toronto with Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
 
Air Malta
The agreement signed by Air One and Air Malta gives the possibility to use the connections between Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Bologna and Malta international Airport and between Rome Fiumicino and Reggio Calabria operated by Air Malta.
 
Austrian Airlines

The code sharing agreement entered by Air One and Austrian Airlines will concern the Rome - Vienna route and the Naples - Vienna route. The two airlines will be involved both in marketing and flight operations.

 
Croatia Airlines
Thanks to the new code sharing agreement between the two carriers, Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik become closer to Rome, Palermo, Catania, Bari, Genoa, Turin, Lamezia Terme and Cagliari.
 
Ethiopian Airlines
The codeshare agreement makes it possible for Air One customers to fly from Rome Fiumicino to Addis Abeba and earn valid miles with Lufthansa’s frequent flyer programme Miles & More. In addition, from Addis Abeba passengers can make connecting flights to all the destinations of Ethiopian Airlines.
 
LOT Polish Airlines

Through their code sharing agreement, Air One and LOT Polish Airlinesl expand the range of flights they offer, traveling between Italy and Poland.

 
Swiss

Italy and Switzerland are now even more near thanks to code -share agreement between Air One and Swiss that allow to fly from Naples to Zurich.

 
TAP Portugal

Through their code sharing agreement, Air One and TAP Portugal expand the range of flights they offer and make transit easier when traveling between Italy and Portugal.

 
United Airlines
The codeshare agreement makes it possible for Air One customers to fly from Rome Fiumicino to Washington D.C. and take advantage of connecting flights to the main destinations of the United Airlines network, not only from Washington but also from Boston and Chicago, which Air One flies to from Milan Malpensa starting this June. On the routes in code sharing with United Airlines, Air One passengers can earn miles with United’s frequent flyer programme Mileage Plus.
 
US Airways

The agreement is focused on the Rome-Philadelphia connection: through Rome Fiumicino passengers will be able to reach Philadelphia from Catania, Palermo, Lamezia Terme, Venice, Trieste, Turin and Genoa.
